Chem-Dry ranked No. 11 in Entrepreneur Magazine's list

(Logan, UT) — The June edition of Entrepreneur Magazine has ranked Chem-Dry, a carpet and upholstery cleaning company based out of Logan, Utah, No. 11 among the “101 Best Franchises to Run From Home.”

Chem-Dry Director of Franchise Sales Bill Knight said one of the main reasons that more and more are choosing to start a Chem-Dry franchise is the low starting cost.

“Chem-Dry is a low-cost investment that almost anyone can get into,” Knight said. “Plus we provide our own in-house financing, which is a huge deal in today’s tight credit markets.”

Knight said Chem-Dry requires a down payment of $8,495 and will finance the remaining balance of $20,555 at zero interest for 56 months, with the first payment due four months after the business is started.

This year’s top home-based franchises are listed in order of their ranking in Entrepreneur's Franchise 500®, the world's most comprehensive ranking of franchise companies. The Top 500 ranking is published in the January issue of Entrepreneur Magazine. Using a proprietary formula, franchises are evaluated on objective, quantifiable measures of operation. Key factors are audited, including financial strength and stability, growth rate, size of the system, number of years in business, length of time franchising, startup costs, litigation, percentage of terminations and whether the company provides financing. Franchises are then ranked by a cumulative score.

Chem-Dry is the world’s largest carpet and upholstery cleaning company with more than 4,000 franchises in 45 countries. For information about how to own a franchise, visit www.chemdryfranchise.com.
