Electrostatic Spraying has many benefits for effective disinfecting and sanitizing
Electrostatic sprayers utilize the science behind Coulomb’s law. Coulomb’s law states that opposite electrical charges attract and like charges repel. Electrostatic spraying has been used for many decades in painting and agriculture and is currently being used in the cleaning industry as well.
Electrostatic equipment works when a positive charge is applied to the solution coming out of the electrostatic sprayer. These positively charged droplets are attracted to the negatively charged surfaces but not to each other. This prevents them from forming larger droplets and allowing these droplets to wrap around the surfaces, seeking out the negatively charged surface areas and providing a full “360 degree” coverage. This type of wrap-around coverage is not possible with traditional sprayer systems. The result is a thin, even coating on all types of surfaces.
